There is a Brazilian Art Director myth: a sun-kissed kid who grew up destined to become a creative. Yeah, that's the other Marcello, Serpa. I took the longer route. I drove trucks, wired train engines, even tried engineering school, all before I knew what a cross-channel advertising campaign was. Becoming a creative was always part of my own myth and I am happy I never lost that spark.

In my career, I’ve worked across Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador and Italy, at agencies like TBWA, Publicis and Y&R. I am skilled in campaigns, branding and pitches, having worked for Nike, Toyota, Chevrolet, KIA, Nestlé, Nescafé, Heineken and clients in telecom, education, healthcare, banking, hospitality and more.

Over the years I've developed a Creative Process blending two schools: Brazil’s fast-paced visual craft and Argentina’s conceptual depth. This mix allows me to transform strong ideas into campaigns that deliver results and win pitches.
